    Low Disk Space Warning

Happy Friday All. Is there a way to eliminate the Low Disk notification in Windows 10? It applies to D Drive which is my recovery diskโ€ฆnothing ever moved to this drive. Thanksโ€™

Hi, this is a bug in the 1803 Spring update, it creates/adds a drive letter & the recommended solution is to remove the letter within disk management. If itโ€™s not possible then you can use diskpart within cmd/powershell w/ admin.

Run this command and hit Enter

    diskpart

Run this command and hit Enter

    list volume

Note down the letter associated with that new drive

Run these commands one at a time and hit Enter (replace X with the correct drive letter)

    select volume X

    remove letter=X

Close Command Prompt and restart your PC

Thanks Bestet but this has been going on before new 1803 Spring Update. It shows D with low space and this is my Recovery Disc. I would llike to eliminate this warning since it serves no useful purpose since I have no reason to believe anything else would be added to D Drive.

Thereโ€™s been an increase of users reporting the same problem after the Spring update hence my mentioning it, the solution I offered seems to be the only way of correcting the error at the moment.
