Left speaker dead and right speaker is playing for both
My left speaker seems dead on my Dell Inspiron 7347 Laptop and when I test them the right one plays a sound for the left and then plays one for the right. Iβve checked balance, reinstalled drivers, scanned for problems pressing F2 on boot up and still have no idea whatβs wrong apart from presuming a hardware failure for the left speaker.
what happens when you plug in external speakers?
after uninstalling, have you tried getting the sound card driver from Windows Update, the Dell website and also the sound card manufactures site (there may be a difference)?
