Keyboard not working

It’s a dual boot system with Windows 10 and Windows XP.the crazy thing is the keyboard works in Windows XP but not in Windows 10.the keyboard shows up twice as unknown device I’ve uninstalled both and rebooted and it did no good.I also uninstalled the USB drivers and that done no good.this is the craziest thing I have ever seen.has anyone got any idea what could be the problem?

guess you could try this Fix USB-C problems in Windows - Microsoft Support

did you uninstall and reinstall USB root hub? or swap the generic USB root hub..
