Windows 10 - Timing Out and Re-Sign In Issue

Can you tell me how to fix this problem?

I sign in using my password… it goes to my desktop as normal. But, when my laptop either goes into sleep or times out, it reverts to the start-up/sign in window at the beginning… every time. I do not want it to time out or go into a sleep mode and have to re-sign everytime.

Also, is there a built in screen saver in Windows 10 that does not time out your computer?

How to skip password prompt after sleep using Settings
    [ol]
    [li]Open Settings.[/li][li]Click on Accounts.[/li][li]Click on Sign-in options.[/li][li]Under “Require sign-in,” choose Never from the drop-down menu to complete the task.[/li]
Disable password after resuming from sleep on Windows 10 | Windows Central

I had already done that. It currently says “Never”… still doing it.

      Any other options?

The only other place I can think of is under Lockscreen settings, scroll down to the screensaver link & under screensaver there’s a tick box for activating Lockscreen when coming out of the screensaver (can’t recall the exact wording).

Bastet… thanks for guiding me to this… I believe it helped!

I turned ON the Windows Screen saver and unchecked “go to sign up screen” and it seems to be working.

            I appreciate your help here!
