hello i have a windows 7 laptop that was never compatible with Windows 10. however, windows 10 still keeps on trying to download and install - which just slows the internet household down while its downloading
is there a flag i can set to disable Win 10 trying to download ?
You can do this as well to stop the updates. Go to your control panel, click on Administrative Tools, then find your component services. From there find local services, scroll down to Windows update, click on that. You will have several choices here Auto update or notify me before updating and or just disable. I have mine disabled, like you i got tired of those annoying updates.
