      Welcome to PCHF Cheyenne.

      Have you checked for a system restore point that is before you first noticed the problem/made the changes.

      Just type in system restore in the Windows 10 search box and see if there are any appropriate system restore points available then get back to us.

          Enable System Restore points on your computer, see MS guide here then try a Windows Refresh, see below;

          The refresh option does not delete your personal data but may remove certain apps such as Chrome etc, I do however always recommend that folk back up any important data before carrying out a refresh or making any significant changes to the computers software or hardware.

          1: Right click on the notifications icon, bottom right on the task bar then click on Open Action Centre.
          2: Click on the All settings tab.
          3: Click on the Update & Security tab.
          4: Click on the Recovery tab to the left.
          5: Click on the Get started tab.
          6: Click on the Keep my files option.
          7: Follow any on screen messages.
          8: Post back with an update for us.

              Is this a Do it yourself system of a prefabricated system?

              Why no download the proper drivers remove the unwanted one and the reference points in Device Manager then reinstall them?

                  Who made the system (Dell Gateway HP…)?

                  Was it one that some one hand built?

                      Nope. Have you checked with them to see if they have the drivers for the system via their web site?

                      Did they send any disk with the system?

                      Is there a recovery partition on the system?
