I installed my 8 GB USB but it only shows 1.10 GB. How do i fix this problem ? It has to be simple, iam not good with computers.
This is Windows 10
My Linux Mint USB works fine.
I have a 1 GB USB it shows .99 GB.
Is it possible my 8 GB USB is messed up, i have used it several times. As cheap as USBs are i will get a new one.
Thank,s Chuck
My fix iam going to get another USB from WalMart this 8 GB USB must be broke i guess, the other USBs i put in the computer port shows the correct size. This 8 GB that seems broke i have had over 2 years plus i have used it may times.
Its better it seems to throw it away and get a new one. About $10.00 for a pack of 2- 8GB at WalMart.
Thank,s from Chuck for your GREAT HELP FROM PC HELP FORUMS
Sounds to me you have corrupted memory, or hidden partitions on that Flash drive.
I would run CHKDSK from Command Prompt on that Flash Drive.
I think you are formatting on part of the Flash Drive.
