2 Things I Need Help W/

1. Text on my Desktop came up after a reboot saying “Test Mode”

   My Windows is Activated according to settings. Is there any way to make it disappear or should I not worry about it?
2. I’ve tried many times to get the Screen Saver to show up while I’m not using my PC. I do Have it enabled but it still won’t show up. Is there something I didn’t do to make it work? Can you guys help me w/ these please?

and reboot.

2.) Did you make sure everything is correct and the Power Settings are set to screensaver rather than Turn Display off?

Sorry Eddie I’ve been busy with work.

Do you by any chance have any other devices attached to the computer, like a wireless mouse? Ensure that no devices are set to wake the computer.

Try turning off your wireless mouse. Set the screensaver to set for 1 minute, and turn off the mouse and wait and see if it fixes it. The mouse might be sending random signals to the computer preventing it from sleeping properly

I tried turning off my mouse & no Screen saver came up after 1 minute.

powercfg /lastwake
powercfg /devicequery wake_armed

and tell us what it outputs.

A while ago I reinstalled the OS & somehow the screen savers work. I’m currently using the Mystery Screensaver from Windows 98. >
