Norton Checkmark on some files in my PC

I happen to noticed that the Norton Checkmark is on some files on my PC & I don’t even have any Norton Products installed. Why is that?

If you have us believe you just reinstalled the OS, you wouldn’t have any Norton entries.
A Microsoft Tech agent had me reinstall the Operating System & the Security Update got successfully installed & applied.

I wasn’t fibbing when I said I reinstalled the OS. Now that I remember, I did install the Blue Coat K9 Web Protection which the Company Blue Coat is bought by Symantec. I wonder if that has to do w/ the Norton checkmarks. If it does, that would be okay seeing that no problems are being caused.
