Left clicking occasionally closes games (returns to desktop)

I’ve been having a small issue with online gaming where my game would tab out of itself and return to the desktop screen. The game doesn’t shut itself down but it’s like the game just “Alt-Tab”'s itself back to my screen saver. This only occurs with video games and not any other program or tabs. It mostly happens on FPS games but also strategy (If any of that matters). Is this just an issue with my mouse or is there something wrong with my computer? I’m lost on this and I’ve also made sure nothing else is running in the background to try to avoid this. Nothing has worked.

It mostly happens on FPS games but also strategy (If any of that matters). Is this just an issue with my mouse or is there something wrong with my computer?

I do not think that it is a problem with the mouse. The issue may be what is called Sticky Keys. Have a read through and see if this helps.
