    Data Recovery

I was running windows 10 and my daughter somehow erased all the data from the hard drive. I pulled the hard drive and hooked it up externally to my desktop and i get message that i must format hard drive and the the file system is not recognized by windows. I did run a program that retrieved raw data and found hundreds of thousand of files but i must buy the program for it to retrieve my files. I was looking for a free program that would work or I don’t even mind paying for it if I know the program will actually work.
    Thanks Fred

Recuva is the main one I’ve heard of & is one of the best.

I recommend Recuva. It’s free and does the job you’re looking for: To recover lost data

None of the free ones would do what i needed or would limit to 500MB. I purchased USease and it worked very well as it was able to recover alot of raw files.
