I accidentally extracted a rar file onto my desktop containing 100โs of pictures and now half of my shortcuts are gone, and i have 100โs of pictures on my desktop now, but 90 % of them I canโt access becuase it seems like they are on another screen or something. How can I,I guess move my desktop over so I can delete those pictures and get my shortcuts back. I know they are on the desktop becuase i see a sliver of a picture way off to the side but most of it doesnโt show.
Where did my icons go??????

Hi Brandon. You donโt need your pictures in a rar file. What you need is one space on your desktop and make a new Folder, call it whatever you like, maybe โpicturesโ. Then hold the CTRL KEY down and select as many as you can at a time, Click on a highlighted picture, select Copy. Open your new Pictures Folder and paste the pictures in your Pictures folder. This will be quicker than dragging one picture in a time. Move the Desktop sideways at the top holding the Left move button down and slide Desktop to the Left as needed, to get more pictures that are hidden at the moment.
See how you go. -

If it was not enabled, then there are other options to correct the issue at hand. We will explore those, if needed.Comment

Hey DOUGIE I tried holding the Left move button down and slide Desktop to the Left but it didnโt work. What I did do was I went under display settings, and I changed the magnification from 100% to 125% then back to 100% and it showed a bunch of the pictures that I wasnโt able to see, so I deleted them, then did the magnification again and again it moved the stuff over so I deleted the rest of the pictures and was able to get all of my shortcuts back. So now everything if fine. Thank you guys for the suggestions. I have learned a lesson now, that when I extract a rar file I make sure to do it in a folder, instead of doing it on my desktop.Comment
