    Memory speed not correct?

    Greetings everyone,

I have managed to find out how to get my RAM updated to 1866Mhz using the XMP settings in my Motherboard, but the Windows Task Manager still doesnโ€™t want to show me 937Mhz, but as you can see CPU-Z does!

I realise that because I have a duel channel it means that each memory will clock at 937 then join up to make 1866MHzโ€ฆ but as you can see in the Windows Task Manager it simply doesnโ€™t want to showโ€ฆ does this mean Windows is seeing my memory correctly or will I need to do some Enviromental Varible changes or something??

    Cheers comrades,
    Chris

You have DDR3-1600 it has double bump clock speed if you divide 1600/2=800MHz . Windows reporting correct speed but only reporting single clock speed.
