Hi Craig, unfortunately I am no longer familiar with authoring software as haven’t used it in years. I have an extensive music collection on several NAS boxes and media apps like music monkey, pot player, and kodi have spoiled me with endless playlist options. My only suggestion is that someone else may know of an app to suit your particular requirements. My only suggestion is to try as many as you have to until you hopefully find the perfect one for you. The vast majority of freeware is malware free, and I have to say malwarebytes is very proactive flagging stuff that is not necessarily bad. I can only suggest you install unchecky and run any unknown app past “Should I remove It” before you commit to it. You could also use a 2nd opinion AV scanner to check any downloads before you open them.

PS, if you wish I can also give you an opinion only on the safety or otherwise of any app you are considering. Also have a look at Ashampoo Burning Studio, they have a clean free version but I don’t know if the authoring options are too limited for you or not. Damn good burner though.

Thanks for checking in and hope it was a great weekend.
With your help please see Post 14 I was able to get the Authoring Software. Although it was only free for a trial it was fantastic to have no Anti-Virus or Malware Bytes freaking out. I used the link you suggested (thanks) for Freeware and then ended up with DVD Author Plus.
In the future any software paid or free I am interested in would be honored to have your thoughts.
