You can connect laptop to your TV if this what you are asking for.

As Freebooter suggested, certainly possible but depends on what kind of connections are available on the TV and the laptop. HDMI are preferred.

So if you were to connect an HDMI cord to TV & Laptop, you can view your Computer from the TV?

You will need to put the TV on the proper channel and may have to do some configuring on the system

If the screen on the PC is broke & you can’t do any configuring, I’m guessing it won’t work?

              What version of windows?
There are keyboard commands that can be used.

Some automatically do see the TV and or Monitor and automatically go there.
You may not see a screen until you get to the windows log in or I have had some that do not show until past that.

All that can be done is tried and see.

My Mom has Windows 10 on her PC. My Mom was asking me about using the TV to view her PC.

Use the Windows key + P (tapping them) to cycle through may take a few seconds for the picture to appear on the screen so give it time between taps.
