    Random Pc Hang Ups

Hello there, I was just wondering if anyone could help with this issue I’m having, my PC fully hangs and locks up for about 20-30seconds at a time and will be completely unresponsive during this time.

I’ve tried all the usual stuff to see whats causing the issue such as disk checks virus and malware, and even a full complete OS install but it still dose it.

My PC specs are as follows.

    Windows 10 64 Bit OS
    AMD FX 8370 4.00GHz. ( One week old 6Th May 2017 )
Asus Strix 4GB OC GTX 970.
Super Flower Leadex GOLD 650W PSU
    Samsung SSD EVO 750 - 120GB
    1TB Western Digital Storage
    16GB Kingston Fury HyperX 1866MHz.

Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Hi XPGDS. Does the computer lock up in Safe Mode? Does the same thing happen if you leave the computer idle on the desktop in normal mode?

We will want to check the condition of your hard drive next.

Download HD Tune and save the file. Install HD Tune and restart it after installation. Then go to the tab Error Scan , select the hard drive you want to check and press Start . The check can be quite time consuming take depends on the size of the hard drive check. Take a screen shot of the result and save it. Upload it to IMGUR for us. Post the link here.

Do Not tick the quick scan!!
