I have Twitter account and like time goes my mailbox is filled by messages from unknown people, also from eastern Asia.
I had the same problem with Facebook, but only likes etc., so I deleted account successfully.
I want to delete Twitter account too.
How to do it?
In order:

[li]Sign in to twitter.com on the web.[/li][li]Go to your Account settings and click on Deactivate my account at the bottom of the page.[/li][li]Read the account deactivation information. Click Okay, fine, deactivate account.[/li][li]Enter your password when prompted and verify that you want to deactivate your account.[/li][/ol]
