This is for Win 8/8.1 so not sure this will work on 10 but worth a try.
Type โmsdt.exe -id WindowsMediaPlayerConfigurationDiagnosticโ in Start>run and hit Enter to open the troubleshooting wizard which will help you reset WMP to default settings.
