    Confusing boot problem

Hi have had an ongoing BSOD prob during which your colleagues have advised making several tweaks
One of these included switching to safe mode

Went into safe mode and carried out the required adjustyments
Then wanted to exit safe mode and go back to standard function
During this adjustment I removed "selective "startup check mark and then went to BOOT tab
    This showed only WIN7 aS O S - as default - no mention of Win 10 ??
But boot /start up brings me to Win10 start screen and requests admin password

I have excessive startup boot times and you have been kindand helpful
But just wondering if Win 10 should be mentiomned and I choose the option to boot into that

Maybe that hasbeen the cause of slow start up Your advice -as always- greatly appreciated!!

After all your patience and advice I soldiered on and removed Bit defender AV Carried out the upgrade repair using up to date ISO on brand new memory stick plus brand new DVD Reduced number of services and programme at startup and got the boot time down to about 90 secs The only thing …The cad/engineering progs with crypkey protection are now working only in demo mode with drawing /save functions totally limited - my fear all along! Have been away for a few days and on return received a pop up message on 10 start screen asking about my experiences with Win10 and would I recommend to a friend? I have responded as politely as self control will allow whilst been unable to work on design and have left my email address for contact. whilst I throw myself on the mercy of my software package designers …And await a response (yeah!) Watch this space for further entertainment

You will need to contact the software vendor for these issues, there is nothing we can do about that.

Yes understand fully! Just updated to warn others against upgrade when they have Dongol or protected software onboard The version I had was working spot on for my needs but as it’s no longer supported I am now faced with cost of latest version So much for free Win10! Waiting for the response to my survey reply re it’s recommendation to friends!! Yeah! Leave it with me and will keep you posted cheers Crackerjack

If you ever wanted to go back to windows 7… I certainly would not suggest using windows 10, especially if you are running a business.

You may like this software, it remove the trash from windows 10.
