Second display is far zoomed in?

    Hello,

I just bought a new laptop, and plugged in my second display, which is a flat screen TV. On my previous laptop, the display was perfect, no issues. On this one, it’s too zoomed in. Here’s a screenshot: Screenshot by Lightshot

How can I zoom this out?

Is it only in Youtube? you appear to have theatre mode set, click the rectangular box next to the full screen box (bottom right immediately under youtube video)

      Hi Gus.

Theatre mode is what I’ve always used and the site looked fine. It’s the entire browser that is enlarged. I know my screenshot doesn’t do an accurate job of portraying it, but it’s as if my laptop is choosing to enlarge what is on that screen only. The second I move something over to that screen, such as a text document, it becomes enlarged. See here:

When I move same document to other monitor: Screenshot by Lightshot

The document becomes so large it spills over onto my primary display.

Have you tried adjusting the TV’s setting to something like fit to screen? You also may have to change the computers resolution.

In the Televisions settings, may even have a shortcut button on the remote? grab a manual if your not sure.

I did find the option to change the screen size on the TV, but it’s between normal, which makes it super small, and the wide, which makes it super zoomed in. I noticed even on normal, the text in general seems a little bit. Could this simply be a result of Windows 10? My previous computer was Windows 8.
