Private Character Editor (EUDCEDIT) - where are stored data for chars? Need transfer to other OS

    Hi!

I’m using Private Character Editor long time and now I’m going to install secondary OS and need to transfer data from always never seen TTE file.
I have created near 500 characters and each who reads this knows that copying one by one with copy & paste is big job.
EUDCEDIT always allows store it to TTE file - but I never saw this file and never found when I was searching for.
Anybody can argument: Look into Character Map and you’ll see private characters in single font
But again I used Charmap and Babelmap and never saw it.
But data must to be anywhere stored - where is it? I hope that first time I get help.

    Thank you for each idea.

You might want to use 7-zip File Manager to view these folders.

You are dealing with code pages, not simply fonts.

Yes, in registry there the files are like I stored them - but cannot find any of them!
Even I enable system protected file view. No matter your help is like birthday gift, really no one before helped so.

I have a high degree of confidence in this process.

You may disregard everything I have posted to this point. You may also disregard every word written on every link I have referred you to.

I could not duplicate anything I read. Until I did. But, a very important piece of information was missing. You can create the β€œnew characters” and view them and use them from Character Map exactly as advertised. I am certain you have had success to this point. BUT - The ephemeral TTE file does not exist, even though you can see and use the character. But you never created the actual font.

To do this, EUDCedit.exe (from Private Character Editor) select FILE, FONT LINKS
Select β€œLink with selected fonts” radio button (I had no success with β€œAll Fonts”)
Select Save As - dialog box will open to ..\username\appdata\low\microsoft\windows\eudc

                          I saved file as Antman.TTE
Then, I searched for it. It DOES NOT exist as saved. Only a shortcut to that location and filename exists.

So, WIndows does not want me to see that file. But, cmd will let me see it and copy it to a thumb drive.
