Will MS begin charging to use/update Windows 10.

No issue but a general discussion. I read the MS answers forum a user has asked this question saying theyโ€™d heard that MS could begin charging as early as Jan 2017. You can read his post here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...a-ea568651dc57 however it is the reply from a MS forum moderator which is interesting imo, to me the reply isnโ€™t denying the suggestion but reading between the lines they seem to say yes they will but not until thereโ€™s an official announcement.
Am I reading too much into the reply & what does everyone else think?

When you look at the link that is referred to in the first post there is a distinct difference in the link and the question put to a vote. There is no mention whatever in the link about upgrades. If Microsloth is going to charge people by subscription to continue to use software that has already been purchased then WOWโ€ฆNot a lawyer but I hope Micro$oft have plenty of good ones.

If the definition of an upgrade referred to in the poll question is a new version, then why cant they charge for it. The link clearly infers someone says there will be a charge for user to continue using Windows 10.
