    Yes
    When you boot you run Gparted and format the drive.
    Or
    The easy way boot from the windows usb and delete the partitions or format the drive.

      Your steps will be something like this;
      [ul]
      [li]Download the Windows Media Creation Tool from here; Ohjelmiston lataus by clicking the Download Now button.[/li][li]Double click your downloaded file to create a bootable USB stick with your selected Windows version. The stick needs to be at least 8GB and all contents on it will be erased.[/li][li]Also visit your motherboard manufactures website and download the chipset drivers for audio, video, network, etc. Save these to another USB stick.[/li][li]Only have one drive connected, the boot drive. And have the PC off the web.[/li][li]Reboot the PC with the USB inserted, the PC should boot from the stick, if it doesn’t, you’ll need to get in the BIOS and change the boot order.[/li][li]During the installation of Windows, you are offered the chance to delete all the current partitions - do that.[/li][li]Once installed, stay off the web, install those pre-saved chipset drivers.[/li][li]Turn off the PC, reconnect any extra drives, connect back to the web, disconnect the USB sticks. Reboot the PC.[/li][li]Now you can activate Windows and check for Windows Updates.[/li][/ul]

        Hi Bruce, I tried everything suggested, but I am not getting past the Linux download page. I even tried swapping another HD in to see if that worked. I have the original dvd of the motherboard. I just do not seem to be able to install any downloads on to a usb or burn it to a dvd. I did download a live Linux os in order to boot it up and delete the Partition and full linux system. But I did not know just how to transfer the live files from the download to the usb. I know, had it been windows it would have been no problem. I meant to ask you, regardles even if I do not get this solved, is it ok to mention [ PC HELP FORUMS on my Facebook page ] . All the best fr now.

          I would think the Admins of this site would have no worries with you mentioning PCHF on your FB pages.

          As to removing Linux, how about creating that USB stick on another PC already running Windows?

            This is the best option.
            If you do not have access to a windows machine, try this.
            This tutorial shows you how to create a bootable Windows 10 USB in Linux with and without a GUI tool called Ventoy.

                      Not yet PeterOz. I keep having a go and get nowhere. I must be doing something wrong. I get to the point of where you copy the win files to the usb. But that is where it stops. I shall keep on trying though. Cheers.

                        I get to the point where I open the windows disc to transfer them over. But this is where it goes wrong. The windows files do not show for me to copy and past them into the usb. Cheers.

                            Great news Guys. I used a live Linux dvd and managed to delete everything on the Hard drive. I reinstall windows without any trouble at all. A big thank you to all the Guys who took the time to help out with great advice. I did like I said I would do and put a good shout up on my Facebook page about the Group. Thank you once again. Please regard this problem as solved. Cheers.
