I had Acer laptop which i gave to My Brother It has Linux Mint 19.3 installed on it. it works fine.
I get a new laptop Windows 10 HP WIFI it all works great. I have Linux Mint 19.3 on a USB so i can use both. Windows gets WIFI fine but i prefer using Linux Mint more than Windows the trouble is Linux, i cant seem to get Wifi on Linux i have tried many ways that i searched online none have worked. One site suggested get Ethernet, that isnt possible iam in a resthome is all we can get is WIFI. Here are very little i no about this HP the sticker on the computer says AMD Athlon and AMD Radeon its a new HP Windows 10 laptop thats all i no. On the USB i downloaded Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.3 from Pendrive Linux i have already made my settings but with WIFI you cant do much. Would a Panda WIFI adapter from Amazon help? Any ideas will help.
