What are the steps that you are using and to where to save the sites?

Why not just bookmark them and not save them?

Looking at the screen shot in post #1, you are using gthumb. Apparently that app is used to save images, not websites.

You should be using GNU wget from doing some searching

I don’t run mint so I’m not familiar with the program. Additionally, rather than save webpages, I usually just bookmark them.
If I want the information to look at offline, I use PrintKey 2000 in Windows to print out sections of the pages I want to save.
