I would like to convert You Tube video,s to just audio for off line playing. There use to be a simple to use converter from this site that i used, i since dont have it and i dont remember the name, it was easy to use for a Linux Mint newbie like me. Thank,s Chuck

Hello Chuck, there are many apps to convert video to audio but if you are looking to shortcut the process and download just the audio it would easy within your browser. Mint will have Firefox so open it, head to the right hand side and click the three bars which is the menu. From the drop down dialogue select addons and from the addon page click extensions on the left, then put your search term in the box as shown . On the example below I typed “download youtube videos as MP3” and this is the result of the search. Should you require another file format just tailor your search accordingly. Hope it helps?
