Iam a Linux ( newbie ). Iam not sure how to do this. I will tell you exactly what iam trying to do.
I created a desktop folder that says ( WalMart ) inside this folder i want to add shopping list items. I do have tommy boy folder on the desktop, and no how to use it just fine. But iam not sure how to put the shopping list in the WalMart folder.

What desk and what distro are you using? If it is Xfce, you probably have Thunar. It works in a very similar way to windows explorer. Please indicate which distro you are using. For example Linux Mint 18 Mate β¦

Iam a newbie at Linux. Iam not sure what your asking? I will give you the system info according to what it says on here, i hope this helps.

Tommy boy has a document inside. Then we have to Left-click and hold-drag to the other folder
But if what you want to copy is text from a document in βtommy boyβ in a document in WalMart folder, you have to open the βsourceβ document:
[ATTACH]1299[/ATTACH]
go to the WalMart folder
[ATTACH]1300[/ATTACH]
If i understand you correctly this should work, if Iβm wrong, please tell me what I did not understand to try to help you otherwise
