Why it’s time to stop calling users “n00bs” and “1d10ts”

LOL LOL LOL Sorry I couldn’t take this seriously.. Sure in the perfect world these tips would work and help keeps users safe… However for anyone who was worked in the real world, you know most clients do not want to learn how to stay safe. They just want you to fix their computer so they can go play farmville on facebook… Once in a while you will get a client who is willing to learn and do better, but those clients are rare…

Hurt them in the pocket a few times, and most start to take notice.

You need to be more discerning who you do repairs for. If they end up costing you $$$ in lost man hours, they are not worth having anyway. Some clients you just can’t satisfy. Clean their machine for the final time, and tell them nicely to find some other Techy.
