    ๐Ÿ“ข A Message from the PCHF Team: Thank You for Your Patience

    Dear PCHF Community,



    We want to extend our sincerest apologies for the recent downtime and technical interruptions you may have experienced while accessing PCHF. Our team has been hard at work performing a major migration and system upgrade to improve performance, reliability, and long-term stability.



    What Happened


    During the migration process, we encountered unexpected configuration and compatibility issues between our forum software and the new server environment. This resulted in intermittent outages and login problems. While no user data was lost, we recognize that this downtime caused frustration and inconvenience โ€” and we sincerely appreciate your patience.



    Password Resets Required


    As part of the upgrade and enhanced security measures, all members will need to reset their passwords before logging back in.
    However, our email delivery system is currently offline while we finish re-configuring the mail service on the new server.



    If you attempt a password reset and do not receive the reset email, please donโ€™t worry โ€” the system is working, but messages cannot be delivered until the mail service is back online.
    Weโ€™re actively working to restore email functionality and expect it to be available soon. Once live, weโ€™ll post a follow-up announcement confirming that password reset emails are being delivered successfully.



    What Weโ€™ve Done



    • Completed the migration to a faster and more secure hosting environment.

    • Upgraded key components including the forum software, database, and backend services.

    • Verified the integrity of all posts, threads, and accounts โ€” no data was lost.

    • Implemented new monitoring and backup systems to prevent similar issues in the future.

    โœ… Email Service Restored โ€” Password Resets Now Fully Functional

    Dear PCHF Community,



    Weโ€™re happy to announce that our email system is now fully operational following the recent server migration! ๐ŸŽ‰
    Members can once again receive password reset emails, registration confirmations, and forum notifications without issue.



    Whatโ€™s Changed


    As part of our migration and upgrade process, we moved to a new, more secure mail configuration. This required additional setup and verification before emails could begin sending properly.
    That work has now been completed, and everything is functioning as expected.



    What You Should Do



    • If you havenโ€™t already, please reset your password to log in again. You can do so using the โ€œForgot your password?โ€ link on the login page.

    • Check your email inbox and spam/junk folder for the reset message if you recently made a request.

    • Once logged in, verify that your account email address is current and accurate under your profile settings.
