Iam a newbie. I have an extra laptop it is a Gateway Netbook with only 1 GB of ram it has windows 7 starter. Is it possible to only run Linux Mint on it? There isnt a DVD drive. I run Linux Mint on USB ISO on my Acer laptop now with Windows 10
The netbook is just for Linux Mint, if possible. Can this be done? Remember iam a newbie. Thanks Chuck

Hi Chuck, if you find the regular cinnamon or mate versions are a little taxing on your netbook, you could try Mint XFCE, or even a really lightweight Linux such as Zorin, or the really light on resources Puppy(y)
