(1) If I disable hibernate, apart from gaining some GB space, does it have any adverse affects on the system?
i.e. Does it have any affect on startup time etc?
All my power settings are set to never.

(2) I have te option of installing Windows 10 Version 20H2.
Should I install now or hang on for a while?
Basically what I'm asking is whether it is stable?

Thanks

I always have disabled all poer saving options, simply don't need them.
Hibernate really comes in on it's own for fast startups, but SSD's have killed that reasoning.

i have installed 20H2 on all my home PC's (5) and all office PC's (62) with no ill effects.

Bruce,

Many thanks for response.

Best to disable, or keep hibernate enabled??

I will install Windows 10 Version 20H2 today and see how it goes.
