It's pretty common for some reason for all my devices to lose wifi around 4:30am. I don't know why. Almost never any other time, but this happens semi-regularly at this time.
Anyway, it dropped today. I went to reset the router (this is not always necessary).
It's back on my phone and various other devices, but my Windows laptop shows I have no connections, no matter what I do.
I've set my phone as a hotspot and that doesn't show up either.
So, I don't think it's a router problem since I'm on the router (on my phone) right now, and my laptop doesn't connect to other sources either.
But why would it drop and seemingly kill the whole network/wifi adapter? All the other devices work. I don't understand why the laptop doesn't also come back.
It was working fine, dropped out and I guess isn't coming back. I've done the troubleshooting wizard with no luck, I've reset the computer, powered off the computer.. Windows settings claims the wifi adapter is working properly. I've turned airplane mode on and off several times.
Bluetooth is still working.
Where's the secret setting to make it work again?
