When Win 10 was installed on my PC it came with MS Word Starter 2010 that I have been using. Suddenly this Word programme has totally vanished from my PC. How can I reinstall it please. It still shows on my other PC with no problems.

perhaps just the desktop icon has disappeared.
can you still find it in Start, Microsoft Office?
what about going into Control Panel, Programs and Features and making sure it is still installed?

Thanks for that suggestion Bruce. I have carefully checked all those options but no luck at all.

I don't believe you can download MS Starter from any official MS site.
you are going to have to ether start using LibreOffice, FreeOffice or OpenOffice, or even MS Office Online for free (see here)
or lash out and buy Office outright or join the subscription model and get Office365.

Thanks for your suggestion Bruce.
I had already started using LibreOffice so all is well.

all the free ones are now pretty compatible with Word and work much the same way.
probably the only time you'll have issues is if you send your Word doc to someone else and they open it in Word - formatting, fonts, etc may need adjusting when they do.
