  • Hello everyone We want to personally apologize to everyone for the downtime that we've experienced. We are working to get everything back up as quickly as possible. Due to the issues we've had, your password will need to be reset. Please click the button that says "Forgot Your Password" and change it. We are working to have things back to normal. Emails are fixed and should now send properly. Thank you all for your patience. Thanks, PCHF Management

How come everytime I log into my Gmail account, the bottom right of the screen has the words "Open in 1 other location?"

Many Gmail users have already asked this question on the net and they keep getting told that their mobile phones are on and that they are logged in with their email/Gmail address. They then insist that they are not logged in at all. Is someone viewing what I have in my email from another location?

When you select Details what does it inform you of?

May or may not work.
On the google page that is for that account click the image
Select Manage your Account
On the left side select Security

Look under Recent Security Activity and the scroll down to Your Devices
This will show where, when and what is logged into your account.
You can also do a Sign out form that device from there as well.

Fortunately it only shows a single "Your current session" (my current log-in).

The program is Firefox and the Webpage is Google. I usually click on the Firefox logo on my Desktop and then once open, I key in the search words in the Google bar.

Take some time do it right rushing caused more issues.
Somehow I got stuck at this part of that hints and tips link.

The "button" which says 'Manage third-party access' isn't visible. Google might have taken the option away.

Nothing suspicious when I checked the log ins. So I'll just tolerate the message as a small annoyance. Rustys, thank you for the assistance.

Oh sorry, before this thread is closed, can I ask a question to other Gmail users;do you all also get that same message and what is your response to it?

You would have to start another thread asking that.

You never did answer these questions from post 5
Oh...I overlooked the questions. I used another browser, result was the same. I also cleared the cookies and cache and the bottom right still showed that message.

I think I can safely presume that I have not found any foreign/outside/suspicious sign-ins. So all I can do is just hope for the best and consider this problem solved. Thank you.

If you have not done already is turn on Two Factor Authentication and change the password.

Alway check to see what is and where is signed form.
