Hi, since yesterday evening, I've been having issues with package loss on my PC. Fine yesterday morning and afternoon but suddenly in the evening, I'm getting between 10 - 20% package loss consistently.

I am running Windows 11. I have a Wi-Fi card with Intel Wireless-AC 9260. Drivers are up to date. I have also tried using a Wi-Fi dongle and a Powerline adapter for Ethernet. The problem persists.

I have tested the ping of a PC with Ethernet and a Laptop with Wi-Fi on the same internet and neither are having issues. When pinging the router, there are no issues. When pinging my phone on the same Wi-Fi network, there are no issues.

Google hasn't really been very helpful as it just suggests all the standard stuff like restart everything, reseat the card, try turning off your firewall, replug all cables, etc.

I don't really know where to go with this next as there don't seem to be any issues with the router, with other PCs connections, with my hardware, software is up to date, etc. Anyone have any ideas? I'd appreciate it!

So other can assist ...

Have you tried resetting the network setting to default on the affected system?

Are any of the other connected systems connecting VIA WiFi?

Download MiniToolBox and save it to your desktop. Run the program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator. When the program opens select the following box:

Select all

COPY and PASTE the complete information for the MTB.txt file into you next post.

Which ISP are you using? Have you ensured the problem isn’t on their end?
What program/webpage are you using to ascertain the packet loss problem?
Does the router have it’s own firewall? If so please disable this & check for packet loss again.
