  • Hello everyone We want to personally apologize to everyone for the downtime that we've experienced. We are working to get everything back up as quickly as possible. Due to the issues we've had, your password will need to be reset. Please click the button that says "Forgot Your Password" and change it. We are working to have things back to normal. Emails are fixed and should now send properly. Thank you all for your patience. Thanks, PCHF Management

I have read a little on VPN Iam on WIFI in a resthome. I guess public WIFI because we all use it. I would say 100 people are on this WIFI, maybe even more. I have noway of noing. There,s probably 50 nurse,s on WIFI all the time. Will VPN benefit me from hackers and how do i get VPN? A Linux newbie here. I also am on Windows 10. Thank,s Chuck

Hey chuck :)

A VPN will greatly enhance your anonymity and privacy 1000-fold. I use Private Internet Access (PIA) as my personal VPN. It's been very reliable, you can adjust the encryption and strength and algorithms, has over 1000+ servers, and is only $9.95 a month. They even have a client for Ubuntu-based distros, and they also have easy-to-follow guides to manually set it up on other Linux distros :)

Thank You jmarket, you always have very easy to understand, solutions to any problem. The biggest hurdle i had before joining PC Help Forums. I would ask a person about a pc problem, thay would then explain things like iam a pc expert, iam not even close to an expert.
Thanks Chuck
