Shows as soon as monitor is turned on. I dropped the monitor a while back and had to reattach the plastic surrounding on the front so something may have came loose? 27in benq zomie xlcd. The pink line didn't show up until long after this incident. Once it did show up I could just press around the line on bottom of the screen and It would go away but that no longer works. I opened the monitor up and every wire and plug seems intact. Thanks
 
Does it happen when the screen is not connected to a computer - powered up with only the cord that is connected to the wall socket.
 
Suggests that the screen is hosed but you may want to hook it up to the PC and run the two tests here
