  • Hello everyone We want to personally apologize to everyone for the downtime that we've experienced. We are working to get everything back up as quickly as possible. Due to the issues we've had, your password will need to be reset. Please click the button that says "Forgot Your Password" and change it. We are working to have things back to normal. Emails are fixed and should now send properly. Thank you all for your patience. Thanks, PCHF Management

g'day and welcome to the forums. :)

all may not be lost, not yet anyway.

usually when Windows has profile errors, it still logs you in under a temporary profile it creates every time you log in - are you getting that far?
if so, once in, go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Family and Other Users > Add someone else to this PC

create a new User and sign back in using that account. once in, go to C:\users\{your original profile}\ and copy your Docs, Pics, Downloads, Desktop, etc folder to the new profile.

if you are not even getting into Windows, another option is to start the PC, and as soon as you see the Windows logo, hold in the power button to force the PC off.
repeat that process about 3 times and eventually Windows will show a "hang on a sec, what are you doing?" sort of error and take you into the Advanced Startup Options menu.

from there you go into Advanced and could either try a restart into Safe Mode, or a Repair this PC.

@PeterOz has a neat little profile fixing tool (which I tried to search for and failed) but I think it relies on you being able to get into Windows.
let's see what he says on that. (y)

bingo - found it.

it was courtesy of @Malnutrition but unless you can log in under some other account, it'll be no use!!!
