So other can assist let get a speccy report.

Do not forget to post the make and model of the PSU if this is a desktop.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

I have given all the info someone needs that could help me , is my post active for members to view ?

without having the information that is requested we could only guess since we do not have any hardware information.

I have given all the info someone needs that could help me
the answer is no.

is my post active for members to view ?
yes, it is visible for members to view.

So, if you wish to have proper assistance and answers then we need the information otherwise we play the guessing game and waste time and effort.

All I am asking is it possible to get a cable with a USB connecter on one end to connect my pc and an hdmi connection on the other end to go into the monitor and would it work ok thanks in advance if anyone can help

Not sure about the aversion to Speccy - it's from the same people that make CCleaner; This helps us find info and potential issue, but let's try to work around it as best as we can.

What computer do you have?

Who makes it, and what is the model?

What type of USB are you trying to plug into, A, B, C, Thunderbolt?

Do you want an adapter or a cable that has a different plug on each end?

What is the make and model of monitor you want to plug into?
