I just purchased a new mobo which has a USB 3.1 gen 2 front panel connector. But my case only has a USB 3.0 front panel connector. Will I be able to connect it, and if so will I get the USB 3.1 gen 2 speeds?

Googling USB 3.1 on usb 3.0 port:

"USB 3.0 and 3.1 are compatible, headers-wise, so you can plug the case's USB 3.0 cables into the mainboard's 3.1 headers, and you will have USB 3.0 in the front of the case. "
