This is my first post on here, so apologies if I don't include enough information.
My laptop is an ROG Strix G1513IE
I recently installed a new ssd, which was my first time opening up the computer. I attempted to unplug the battery before messing with anything, and I think I messed something up. I couldn't unplug it, and went ahead with the ssd installation.
When I finish and close the laptop back up, I find I'm unable to power on the laptop.
However, when I plug the laptop in, it boots up with no issue. Battery at 70%. I can unplug the laptop and it stays on
But I still can't turn it on without it being plugged up. And the battery won't charge. It's just stuck at 70%. It won't go down either
I tried running some troubleshooters, specifically the MyAsus troubleshooter which found an issue, but revealed no information about it, only an option to send a request ticket.
So I have no idea what the issue could be. Let me know if I need to provide more information, and I can also open up the laptop again and take pics of the battery, connector, etc.
Thanks in advance!!!
