Hi all, I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer all contacts and SMS messages from a Samsung GT-E1080i phone to an Alcatel 1066 phone? I have a USB cable that allows me to connect the Samsung to my PC, and I have a Micro SD card for the Alcatel, so I was hoping that I might be able to transfer the data from the Samsung to my PC, and then to the Micro SD card, and then hopefully the Alcatel might allow me to copy the contacts and SMS messages to the phone, or at least be able to read them on the memory card. Unfortunately my PC is not recognizing the Samsung when it is connected.

So I'm wondering if this is going to be possible to do, and if so, do I need some kind of software to do it?

Unfortunately neither of these phone have Bluetooth, so I think the only way would be through USB to PC, if there’s a program that can allow me to access the data on the Samsung.

Never mind, turns out the Alcatel doesn’t let you store SMS messages on the Micro SD Card, and even worse it only stores 50 SMS messages on the phone as opposed to the Samsung’s 100, so transferring the texts would be irrelevant anyway.

OK.yeah i talk to my expert, other than a bluetooth transfer there is no other way. So shall i mark your thread?
