Hello. folks.

A 380 GB folder is being moved through the internet from my Computer to a laptop. That takes a long time to complete.

Is there an easy way to quickly transfer this folder?

Thanks a lot in advance

Ayed

use a USB drive, it will be considerably faster.

using the internet you are limited to your upload speeds, which are usually mush worse than your download speeds, which depending on your location and Provider and bandwidth, may already be crap.

so use an external USB connected drive, which you should already have for backups (wink wink) or if not - time to get one!

Thank you very much, Bruce.

The PC is used, not new. So, when I connect in the USB, it is not recognized by the System. It states that there is a restriction imposed by your organization's policy.

Which computer is not new, from where has it come from and which computer is giving you the below message;

there is a restriction imposed by your organization's policy.

From the content of the OP I am seeing a red flag regarding both a business related computer and the member attempting to access/transfer data that they should not be.

No follow up from the OP regarding the questions that I asked,, their previous corrupt Windows thread they abandoned when they got what they wanted and their first ever thread was asking how to get around activating Windows, really not sure why they are even still here :unsure:
