The screen have colored lines going one way and just lines going the other way with black areas

things like is this a desktop or laptop?
make and model of PC.

what have you tried so far, like, changing cables, changing screens?
when did this start happening? for example - has the PC been moved recently, or updated with new hardware or software?

the more info you give, the better someone may be able to give advice.
