Yeah ...here they would just get a ticket, (if) they were caught... A while back i had a flat on I 485...so i pull over and proceeded to change the flat and man the road was busy that day.. So as i was changing the tire out i heard a trucker blow his horn and i look up and this fool was in the emergency lane do 65 + ..so i get back in front of the car telling my daughter to hang on..so the idiot looked up from his cell phone and got back into his lane and was still on his phone as he passed me.. This idiot was lucky i didn't have a brick..cause i would have surely threw it at him..

If they would revoke the license for six months to a year and confiscate the mobile device for the same amount of time.

With some of the mobile devices costing form $300 to $1,000 maybe would curve some of it.

No revoking license and confiscating phones is not the cure.
In my city we have unlicensed drivers - they don't worry about it. They just get on the road and drive.
They'd also steal someone's phone and use that or rob a store and grab cellphones.

And that would just give police another reason to pull people over, like we need that...

They need to do something I am tired of scraping bodied off the roads due to this foolishness. Not counting the times I have almost become a statistics from this as well.

Some thing needs to be done and the government needs to grow a set. Did not state it was a cure more of a deterrent. Which would be funny for this area since most of the cops do it. Not just the police there a fire departments and other agencies.
