hey i'm hoping SOMEONE has an easy answer for me besides wipe and re-install windows.

when installing windows on my C drive my 256 GB nvme SSD it took some partition and put it onto my HHD, disk 0 i want to RAID my HHDs together and this is causing it not to be able to .
(13gb is my optane drive. does anyone know if i need to format it before i use it? or will the program take care of that )

so you want to RAID disk0 and disk1 together?
what is it you are trying to achieve with that?
is it for performance or redundancy?

in my experience, whenever a RAID fails, and they fail as often as hard drives fail, then the other RAID'd drive is also inaccessible as the RAIDs that have been setup have been proprietary and useless when the drive is put in another PC.
any way, RAID for me has always been painful and not any better than a simple backup solution.

some of your issues are disk0 is active and no other partition is.
pretty sure in the past I have removed System Reverse partitions without issue but with yours being active, that is going to throw up some cautionary flags.

sadly, I reckon this is a 'suck it and see' exercise.
backup your data, even do a system image using something like Macrium Reflect Free.

if it was my rig, I would reload Windows (yep, realise you don't want to) with all the other drives disconnected.
that way Windows will do all it needs to the NVMe and not touch the others as it won't see them.
then plug the others in and RAID the two 1TB's if you want.

okay well, i'Ve gone the route of unplug all, only my c:// drive installed re-installed windows, and now I have an HDD with a recovery partition on it. I'm now trying to delete the active primary system reserved partition from the HDD, but it cant be deleted from the disk management, ill try again tonight but if I cant just click and format the entire drive including that partition, how should i go around it and wipe the disk
 
all sounding good.
so C:\ is the NVMe and it is flagged as Boot & Active?
don't worry about any of its partitions, whatever Windows did to the drive, leave it as.

as to the others, sounds like you either need a dedicated partition tool, like EASEUS Partition Master or you could use the command prompt DISKPART.

I assume the info on the 2 drives you want to RAID together is not required as that process will wipe the drives.
in fact, on that, that process of converting them to RAID should do all this partition work for you, the last time I did this (years ago admittedly) the process threw up plenty of "are you sure" warnings before it stripped the drives bare in readiness for it to convert to RAID.
