Stuttering/Skipping/Freezes in Games

I have a really new system that I tried optimizing/troubleshooting but I can not figure out by myself why do I see small frequent freezes of 0.1s or so while gaming: Warzone, Kovaaks. I do not have network issues since I tested it in 2 different places and since Kovaaks is singleplayer, I reinstalled multiple times Nvdia software and the games but in both I still have issues. I upgraded every driver that I could find but still no fix. I used every cmd command I found to test/repair system issues/missing files.

Not surprised that you are having issues, your Speccy report shows that the system settings are a mess.

There is a lot of work to do but first things first we need to know the brand and model name or number of the PSU.

I think that it is safe to say that you need a better quality PSU, Corsair RM range, EVGA Gold or above or the same from Seasonic.

Other issues that are flagged up, you are OCing your RAM, not only past what the CPU can handle which AMD say here is 3200MHz but also past the stable 3200MHz Tested list by Corsair here

Windows should never have been installed on this device, it is way too small and will run out of space for updates in no time, a 256GB SSD is the minimum capacity that should be used just for Windows on its own

The system drivers were not correctly installed.

Once Windows has been clean installed you must then install first the MBs chipset drivers, then the storage/SATA drivers and third the graphics drivers, the drivers can either come from a disk provided by the motherboard manufacturer or downloaded from their site and saved to a flash drive etc, this is a must and Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.

Change the Windows Power Plan to Balanced, Ultra and High Performance are a form of overclocking that is known to cause stability and overheating issues and a weak PSU such as the one that you have will get hotter and weaker the more that you use it.

The setting should only be used for gaming type notebooks that have a discrete GPU that needs the extra power.
 
Regarding ram what i done is simply enabled xmp and it auto overclocked it to 3600 and when i saw that i also changed the flck to 1800 in order to match it and regarding drivers is there no way around it but to reinstall windows?

Not possible as the tested speed is only 3200MHz and the pics below of the Corsair specs clearly state this.

You have post on various forums and info post on one of them suggests that you stream video or games, is that correct.

I am currently working on the clean boot but i takes some time to test services and regarding the follow up ram and streaming: all i did in bios is enable xmp and later on change flck value to 1800 since we noticed it auto overclocked ram to 3600 MHz nothing else i touched in bios and i do not stream( i tried a bit to see how my pc handles it but it wasn.t the best experience so i quickly stopped)
 
A clean boot is no good unless you have disabled XMP and changed the Windows Power Plan to Balanced.

I will be leaving it at that now as you following guidance on more than the one forum is not something that I will be a part of, should you do something suggested elsewhere and things go wrong PCHF will not be liable for the mistake.
 
Nono i mean you are the only responsive person i could find and i really appreciate that i.m doing only what you told me to since i feel like i can have feedback on what i.m doing here. So should i first disable xmp and change flck to 1600 and the power plan change and then test the services?
 
I am also a helper at BC so you need to let them know there that you no longer require assistance and the same at TechSupport Forum where they have been waiting for you to get back to them for some 15 hours.

i will change power plan and disable xmp and see if games are still unstable and after that if i still have issues i should then do clean boot troubleshoot?
also if i disable xmp i will be stuck with 2133 mhz right? how can i go to 3200 without xmp enabled?

Disable XMP, changed the Windows Power Plan and test by using the computer as you normally would, if things are better there is no need for the clean boot and addressing the RAM speed can safely be done.
 
Ok so i found out in bios i had mem frequency selected to 3600 since this pc had previously 3600 ram and even after windows clean install the setting persisted so when i enabled xmp it auto sent my speeds to 3600 instead of the 3200. I changed it now and the powerplan and i will test it out tommorow and let you know about results

Windows has nothing to do with the BIOS so that at least is explained.
 
So far so good my pc feels stable but I didn.t have enough time to test it properly. you can close the thread and much appreciate the help and in case something still feels off after using it i will return

Can we have a new Speccy url + the names of any games that you are having problems with.

You mentioned in your PM that you were having micro stutters, that is not consistent with your original problems as your thread title shows, this suggests to me that the two are unrelated and if you have not addressed all of the issues highlighted in my reply #4 you should have done so before posting back, not mentioned by you since that reply #4, swapping in an appropriate PSU or reinstalling Windows and the system drivers on an appropriate size boot drive or boot partition, both are a must and if not done already we are wasting our time here and by using that PSU you risking permanent damage or complete failure of one or more components.
 
Well i said "small frequent freezes", but yeah micro stuttering is probably more accurate of a description.

Regarding PSU i can not change it i do not have the money for it same goes for an SSD. Reinstalling windows and system drivers i did not do yet since I had work to do on my pc and didn.t have the time yet but will do. I do not know how or what to do about partitions if u could be a bit more explicit about that.
I was also looking through BIOS versions and i saw this regarding the newest version of bios for my motherboard:

fTPM i think is disabled though so idk if updating bios is needed let me know what u think about that since i saw that a lot of the updates mention "improve stability"
One weird think about bios is that i am running on version 3801 and in the list of bios updates on motherboard website i can not find this version(idk if it is normal or not)
 
All that we can realistically do here is provide a means of testing your main hardware when it is under load, the video you provided did not show anything helpful tbh.

Updating the BIOS is always a last resort so you need to be aware that you do so at your own risk.

The PSU and SSD you are stuck with so nothing we can do to help there, partition wise, you would need to create a new 250GB partition on the WD HDD, take the SSD offline then clean install Windows and the system drivers to the new partition on the HDD, once that was fully up to date and recognised as the C: partition you put the SSD back online then format it or alternatively leave it offline and keep it as a back up boot device.

I too noticed the BIOS revision number did not last btw.
