Trying to figure out what I should do? I can buy the upgrades that I need for my PC but, don't know how to do everything. Or should buy a better PC that pre-built with better specs.

Specs:
Motherboard: rampage ll gene
Cpu: i7 950. 3.06ghz
Gpu: R7 370 4gb
Ram: 24 gb of ribjaw ram(4x6 sticks)
500 gb hard drive
120gb ssd
500w power supply

So other can assist.
What parts are you looking at updating

How much do you have to spend?

Make and model of the Power Supply?

What is the PC games are you planing on playing?

and what will be the planned usage for the PC moving forward over the next 3 years (as far as you can foresee)?

Trying to upgrade every really
Trying spend at least 700$
Try get better pc for cyberpunk 2077 and play at a higher fps
What to play it lot move

there comes a point where after everything is upgraded you have a new PC anyway.
so now the point becomes do I want to do it?, can I do it?, is it cheaper to simply buy off the shelf?

Well I would just go with upgrading the motherboard, CPU and RAM and keep your current video card to save money until you can upgrade that at a later date.

The video card is still passable so I would upgrade those other three components first and then decide on when you want to upgrade the GPU.
