The MOBO in question is a Maximus VII Hero: https://www.asus.com/SupportOnly/MAXIMUS_VII_HERO/HelpDesk_Download/

Unfortunately many years later these are not up-to-date.

Should I still follow the best practice of installing these after a clean install?

I ask as Intel recognised and installed a newer of the Intel Graphics driver so I would be rolling back to an old one by picking that from the Asus page. But for the others, is there a way to find the latest compatible drivers instead of relying on those last provided by Asus?

Thanks in advance!
