So I was playing around with Samsung Magician and turned on "Rapid Mode" and the read speed went from 548mb/s to 5,329mb/s. This seems way good to be true... am I damaging my SSD by doing this? It's only an 850 EVO so I wouldn't ever expect it to be able to do this and I'm really sketchy about it... what exactly changes in the SSD so that these speeds can be so fast?
